The Sony TR-610 – 6 Transistor AM Pocket Radio 1958 was the first successful transistor shirt pocket radio and was the transistor radio that all others were measured against; a piece of Radio History
This radio comes with a leather case that is marked Delmonico (the first American Sony Distributer) the case is in fair condition with some cracking on the front (see first photo) the radio in in very good to excellent condition, the case is crack free, and clean, with very few scratches; as you can see from the photos.
The radio works however it is not very loud and the reception is a bit weak, I CAN easily listen to several local AM stations at my kitchen table. This might be normal for a radio of this vintage.
Below in the information from the radio museum
and an English collector whom appears to be an expert on small Sony radios.
