I’m working on updates to the page(s). We are no longer buying any gear except McIntosh and Marantz tube gear, Our increasing business with Whammerdyne (our 2A3 SE amplifier company is expanding) so no my time is limited. I will work on updating this website over the summer of 2021. Stay tuned
Yes, its been quite a while since I have posted. Lots going on at the lab with expansion of the shop space and the ramping up of my 2A3 amplifier product line. Always watch for update son a regular basis at our Face-book sites. both Whammerdyne and Classic Tube Audio. Its much easier for me to post there then trying to keep the website updated
Just taking a moment here to update everyone. I have been so busy and that has not allowed me to keep up the website very well and post fresh and more current projects. I do post to the Classic Tube Facebook site quite a bit so more current activity’s will be fresh. I’m placing much more emphasis on only servicing the classic tube audio components. Solid state components not so much unless they are early McIntosh. Why you might ask..? well simple I do not like solid state components and do not like working on them.. simple I also do wish to make clear please do not ask me specifics on how to refurbish or modify your own do it yourself projects. I get a lot of this type of requests.(I’m happy to do the work for you) This new year of 2019 we will finally be re-working the website and adding much more and fresh projects. As always keep me in mind for your service and repair needs
Not much to report. The shop had a fantastic year. Lots of gear serviced and modified. I have been quite busy with my 2A3 amplifier projects. You can see more at www.whammerdyne.com and our FB page at www.facebook.com/whammerdyne.
Several new models of amps released and a few more soon to be released.
I’m still servicing/modifying most vintage components so feel free to ask if you need anything.
Wishing you all a wonderful new year 2019!
As we are working toward an overhaul of our Classic Tube Audio website, I’m not posting any page content right now.
You can always see the most current activity’s at our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/classictubeaudio/ Our new website for Whammerdyne Heavy Industries is now up and running at: www.whammerdyne.com and the whammerdyne Facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/whammerdyne/ Lots of fun stuff!
Thanks as always for your support
We are back from a very successful show, exhibiting our Whammerdyne family of single ended 2A3 amplifiers. Now it’s time to roll up my sleeves and get to building the next 5 units. Read more about our exciting and world renowned 2A3 tube amps at www.whammerdyne.com
The shop/lab here at Classic tube Audio is undergoing some expansion. We are busy making more room for the Whammerdyne amplifier assembly and test/QC area along with re-configuring our service area where we do extensive tube component audio repairs, rebuilds and restorations on a host of brands and models from the classics to the current issues. Stay tuned, later this summer we will be launching a revised and updated Classic Tube Audio website.
Chow for now,
